Career Highlights:
- The hundreds of students I have had the privilege of teaching, many of whom have gone on to become music teachers, arrangers, composers and/or accomplished performers.
- The many bands and ensemble groups I have conducted from Junior to Senior Concert Bands, Jazz Ensembles, Choirs and small Instrumental Ensembles.
- Organizing the first interstate excursion for the OLSH Jazz Band to "Generations in Jazz" which became an annual event. Especially proud of being the first band ever to participate from the Northern Territory. In our second year we won the Division Four award, a drum kit, thanks to our outstanding drummer, Hayden Wackerman.
- Overseeing the first sell out show ever for The NT Music School's performance extravaganza, "The Alice Beat".
- Creating and producing many performances that became annual events for students including, "Sadadeen Live" and "Sadadeen Soiree".
- "Centralian Eisteddfod" awards, too numerous to mention individually, for soloists, ensembles and bands of First Place and Highly Commended, as well as awards of recognition and invitations to perform at final Gala Concerts.
- Increasing enrolment for instrumental lessons by over 300% in just over two years working for the Northern Territory Music School.
